Every Drop Makes a Difference

My 6 year old grandson Ethan was over for a visit today with his sister and brother and after some good times at the pool and a hearty snack, he spent an hour working hard in the yard. He gave up his time with a fishing pole and didn’t quit when the hour was up because the job wasn’t quite done. He then donated all of his earnings to well #2, even when I gave him opportunity to keep part of it for himself.  I’m very proud of him and he’s proud of himself. I think it’s important for our kids to know  that there are people in the world with serious troubles and that they can make a difference.

  1. What a great example of teaching your grandson to work hard, earn money and use it to help others less fortunate than him. Many adults are unaware of what your grandson knows – that there are areas of the world where people do not have access to clean, safe drinking water.

  2. My dad recently gave each of his children a generous check. I have chosen to tithe the entire check to missions. Much of that is going to this project. What a great way to honor God, by helping His people receive clean drinking water.
